DANCING CIRCLES
In pursuit of fostering curiosity, a Light Corridor featuring inter-connected series of circles was built to represent the Qing-pu area.
The three strips formed by blue circles symbolise the three rivers that grace Qingpu – the Laojie, Xinjie, and Chia Rivers.
Each circle represents an iconic landmark in the region, including metro stations, the Taoyuan Station of the Taiwan High Speed Railway, parks, and an art museum. Layers of structures underneath the circles beckon viewers to interact, inviting them to touch or rotate the circles and experience the dynamic moiré patterns created in the process.
It is envisioned that this wall shall become a vibrant space where students of Qingpu Elementary School interact and play, forging empathetic memories that cultivate a profound sense of belonging to their campus while deepening their affection for the qingpu area.
